BTEC Higher National Diploma Business – Standards Verifier Visit 2012

Mr. Michael Brook – Standards Verifier for the BTEC Higher National Diploma (Business) programme visited SBCS on Monday, April 23 and Tuesday, April 24, 2012 for the external verification of our Higher National Diploma Business programme.   During the visit, he reviewed sample assessments prepared by lecturers as well as the resulting assignments submitted by students to ensure that they complied with Edexcel’s standards


Over the course of the two (2) days, Mr. Brook met with Management, Course Administration staff,  Faculty and students at both our Champs Fleurs and  San Fernando campuses.   In particular, the meetings with the Administrative staff and Faculty were very interactive, and centered around the delivery of the programme.  Here, both areas of good practice and areas for improvement were highlighted and discussed.  Mr. Brook also provided valuable feedback from his meetings with the students, who overall were very happy with the delivery of the programme.
