Welcome....to the Trincity Campus

GENERAL STATEMENT/OVERVIEW

The most recent addition to the SBCS Family, this ultra-modern Trincity Campus, was formally opened on 5th September 2008. We are strategically located in the heart of the vibrant and developing community of Trincity, on the Corner of Beaulieu Avenue & Trincity Boulevard, Trincity.

HISTORY

The 10^th January 2009 will be etched in the history of the School of Business and Computer Science, however more directly its Trincity Campus. This day marked the first day of official classes at this modern, state of the art, facility. The first two groups of students to be accommodated at this facility were the MBA Edinburgh Business School and BSc. Business Management (Royal Holloway) students. All classes were accommodated without any setbacks with favourable reviews provided by both lecturers and students. To mark this memorable day, the principal of the Dinsley Government Primary School (Mrs. Marian Browne) and a representative from her team were on hand to formally welcome Dr. Robin Maraj/SBCS to the Trincity community.

Here at the Trincity Campus we are focused on providing quality service not only to our existing customers but to the general public as well. Through a new initiative we are striving to host/facilitate, on a quarterly basis, beneficial and informative seminars that address socially relevant issues. These fora are available to the public free of charge and thus far we have successfully executed two entitled 'The Internet and your Children' and 'The Economy and You.' SBCS continues to blaze the trail as a progressive visionary in the academic world and our Trincity Campus is privileged to make its contribution to society thereby encouraging "Holistic Education."

FACILITIES

Our Campus comprises of Fifteen (15) Ergonomically Designed Classrooms located on our Ground Floor. Our Administration Offices, Customer Service and Student Services can be found on the First Floor . The Second Floor houses Five (5) State of the Art Labs, Impressive Library and also our Corporate Offices and Training Room.

Unique amongst all SBCS branches, the Trincity Campus boasts its Roof Top Café with a spectacular view of the Nothern Range and environs. In addition to our 24 hour Study Facility, we also offer secured parking both at the front and back of our premises with additional parking facilitated at the nearby Dinsley Government Primary School.

CAMPUS SPECIFIC INFORMATION

BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) in Graphic Design:

SBCS (Trincity) in collaboration with EDEXCEL is pleased to introduce the BTEC HND in Graphic Design. This internationally recognised programme aims to prepare students for an exciting career in the competitive world of graphics in such areas as graphic design, creative design, website design, advertising and marketing. The programme spans 16 units with focus on the areas of multimedia, animation and website design in the second year and is only being offered at the Trincity campus. Read More...
