Globally recognized and demanded, the PMP® credential from the Project Management Institute (PMI)® demonstrates to employers, clients and colleagues that you possess project management knowledge, experience and skills to bring projects to successful completion. As the demand for skilled project managers is at a critically urgent level, practitioners who hold the PMP® Credential are well positioned to provide the professional skills necessary to lead project teams and achieve successful project results.



On completion of this course learners will:

  • Enhance the competencies required for a project manager to perform in the real world
  • Acquire knowledge from A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide)
  • Describe all the facets of the PMBOK® Guide
  • Build maps on all inputs, tools & techniques and resultant outputs
  • Link each knowledge area to the process groups
  • Use real world examples and scenarios to apply the content of the PMBOK® Guide
  • Be able to quickly connect how each process relates to the project management knowledge areas
  • Be familiar with all the concepts embedded in the PMBOK® Guide
  • Build skills in soft skills required for a project manager to include communications, leading, negotiations and conflict management
  • Build strong knowledge and compliance to professional responsibility and ethics
  • Master all formulas and calculations relevant to the PMBOK® Guide
  • Develop a sound knowledge of all terminologies related to the PMBOK® Guide
  • Develop baseline knowledge for further work in preparation for the Project Management Professional (PMP)® exam

Kindly note that becoming PMP® Certified, depends upon the student’s successful completion of an examination, which is administered by the Project Management Institute (PMI)®. This exam cost is not included in our tuition fees.

Update on Project Management Professional (PMP)® Exam Change

In June 2019, PMI announced a significant change to the PMP certification exam

The last day for candidates to take the current version of the PMP exam is now 30 June 2020

Starting 1 July 2020, the PMP exam will reflect the new exam content.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP®)


    The Project Management Professional (PMP®) is the most important industry-recognized certification for project managers.

    You can find PMPs leading projects in nearly every country, and unlike other certifications that focus on a particular geography or domain, the PMP® is truly global. As a PMP, you can work in virtually any industry, with any methodology and in any location.

    This is an advanced course designed for persons with at least three years of project management experience, during which at least 4,500 hours were spent leading and directing projects.

    This course will provide participants with the required knowledge of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide, Sixth Edition), as well as supporting knowledge, skill practice and a simulated mock exam towards the Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification exam.

    Participants who intend to pursue the internationally recognized credential are required read the  PMP® Handbook in order to be aware of the eligibility criteria, policies and procedures for obtaining and maintaining the PMP certification.

    Target Audience

    Persons who are interested in pursuing the PMP® Certification exam, and others interested in acquiring knowledge from the PMBOK® Guide.
