The first of two Masters’ Information Sessions was held on Saturday, June 01, 2019 at our Champs Fleurs campus. These sessions are open to all prospective graduate students and provide an overview of our range of Master’s degree programmes delivered in collaboration with Edinburgh Business School (EBS), Heriot-Watt University. What’s more, the interaction also highlights the possibilities for career advancement and professional development that these qualifications can provide both during and upon completion.
Administrators from our Corporate Education Centre led the day’s proceedings, which included presentations by lecturer Mr Sean Fouché, SBCS EBS alumnus Ms Janniel Waldron-Anderson, and a feature address by Executive Director, Dr Robin Maraj. Questions were fielded and insight provided on the content of the programmes, academic and administrative support, the application process, education financing, and how these qualifications can support the educational and career aspirations of the prospective learners. When asked previously about her SBCS EBS experience, Ms Waldron-Anderson had this to say:
“Having completed the MSc Financial Management, I now have a greater insight into financial markets that allows me to provide a more value-added service to my clients. To anyone considering the EBS Masters programme, I say go for it, as the investment is worth it. I have certainly seen the returns of my investment.”
Under the academic direction of the Heriot-Watt University – Times’ and Sunday Times’ Good University Guide 2018 International University of the Year, and silver rated provider of Higher Education at the TEF Awards (UK) – the EBS Masters’ programmes are “designed for the way you live”. Their flexibility of study (online, face-to-face, blended) is one of the hallmark traits that boosts the international appeal of these qualifications, along with their high industry regard, and quality content. More to that, students benefit from SBCS’ quality and experienced (over 30 years!) academic support provision.
Our EBS Masters’ information sessions are a great way to learn more about these postgraduate offerings. The second of the two (2) sessions will be held on Saturday, June 08, 2019, at our San Fernando campus.
