Human Resources helps in structuring teams, it builds the organisation's culture and it helps people with engagement and development. Human resource management creates a lot of difference in enhancing the productivity of the employees.
The BA (Hons) Business and Human Resources programme can be earned in 11 months on a Full Time basis and 18 months on a Part Time basis. As a graduate of this programme, you will have excellent skills and knowledge in strategies for enhancing employee relations, change management, developing training models and human resource planning.

The typical entry requirement is successful completion of a Level 5 qualification:
- BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business
- ABE Diploma
- **COSTAATT Associate Degree:
- Human Resource Management
- **ROYTEC Associate Degree – Business Management
- **UWI Associate of Science – Business Management
- 240 credits or equivalent of a recognised UK undergraduate award in a relevant subject
We will consider applications from applicants who do not hold one of the qualifications in the list above but do hold an equivalent professional qualification at Level 5.
** Applications will be assessed on an individual basis by the University of Sunderland for eligibility onto the programme. Please note that a module in human resources or a related subject area must be studied as part of the entry qualification.
The BA (Hons) Business and Human Resources Top Up Degree programme comprises of six modules and tuition for these are available via Part Time mode.
