Programme Brief

This course is an introduction to the ITIL framework. It examines at a basic level all facets of Service management, the use of best practice and transitioning an organization into the ITIL framework as well as the benefits to the business.


INDICATIVE CONTENT

The following is a list of the main topics that will be covered during this course:

  •  Identify the principles and concepts of IT Service Management based on ITIL.
  •  Identify the best practices of implementing ITIL in an organization.
  • Define the terminology used in ITIL Identify the concepts and definitions used in the Service Life cycle.
  • Define Service Strategy concepts
  • Define Service Design concepts
  • Define Service Operations concepts
  • Define Service Transition concepts
  • Define Continual Service Improvement concepts
  • Define the roles, processes, and components within key areas of IT Service Management based on ITIL

SCHEDULE & FEES

  • Register early for courses scheduled in 2018 and earn 10% off tuition. Offer valid until 16 December 2017.

Basic knowledge of IT and Computer Literate

  • Administration fee: $150 to be paid on registration.
  • Registration deadline: One week before the scheduled start date of the class.
  • Late Administration fee: $175 will be charged if registration is within one week of the scheduled start date of the course.
  • Payment Plan: A credit price, usually 10% more than the cash price, is available if necessary.  The down payment is 60% of the credit price plus the administration fee. The remainder is paid in installments before the end of the course.
