Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Databases (70-462)

This course is intended for Database Professionals who perform installation, maintenance and configuration tasks as their primary areas of responsibility. They will often set up database systems and are responsible for making sure those systems operate efficiently. They also make sure that the data they store is backed up regularly, stored effectively, and that the data is secure from unauthorized access. Primary responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Implementing a Data Warehouse with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 (70-463)

The primary audience for this course is ETL and Data Warehouse Developers.  They are most likely to focus on hands-on work creating business intelligence (BI) solutions including data cleansing, Extract Transform Load (ETL), and Data Warehouse implementation.  Their primary responsibilities may include:
  • Mastering data using Master Data Services
  • Cleansing data using Data Quality Services
  • ETL Package development for data loading/transfer/transformation
  • Data Synchronization
  • One-time data or application migration
  • Ad-hoc data manipulations, transformations

At least one year’s working experience with databases OR knowledge of database theory and rudimentary knowledge of SQL language


There is an administration fee of $150 to be paid when registering. The deadline to register is one week before the start date of the class, after which a late administration fee of $175 will be charged.

The credit price will apply if you wish to pay a down payment and installments. The down payment is 60% of the credit price plus the administration fee. The remainder is paid in installments before the end of the course.
