A Practical Course in Testing of Low Voltage Installations
This course is an introdution to testing to BS 7671/NEC Wiring Regulations and is particularly suitable for those who lack practical experience or require a refresher. This course combines formal teaching with "hands-on" practical sessions and assumes a basic understanding of electrical installation practices.
This course can be covered in 18 contact hours.
Programme Content
A series of test boards embrace the following tests:
- Continuity of protective conductors
- Ring circuit continuity
- Insulation resistance and polarity
- Live polarity, earth loop and impedance, prospective fault current and RCD operation
Registration Information
There is an administration fee of $100 to be paid when registering. The deadline to register is one week before the start date of the class after which a late administration fee of $120 will be charged. The credit price will apply if you wish to pay a down payment and installments. The down payment is 60% of the credit price plus the administration fee. The remainder is paid in installments before the end of the course.
