The School of Business and Computer Science Limited (SBCS) offers an orientation programme at the beginning of each semester for our new students. The objective of the programme is to assist students in making a successful academic, intellectual and social transition to student life at SBCS.
Enforcing Disciplinary Code
SBCS students are expected to abide by the rules of conduct as specified in the Student Orientation Handbook. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action.
Student Counselling and Advice
The services provided by SBCS Student Services include advisory and counselling services for students on Academic, Personal and Career issues and challenges. The staff of the Student Services Department is trained to determine when students need to be referred to appropriate professional help.
Addressing Student Grievances and Complaints
SBCS seeks to promote an educational environment that values communication, fairness and respect among students, faculty and staff. Despite these efforts, differences in the values and/or goals of members of the aforementioned groups may occasionally contribute to circumstances that leave the students feeling aggrieved. Such occurrences warrant a process by which students can seek resolution to their grievances.
Career Placement
SBCS maintains a database of students seeking employment. We assist students by submitting resumes to employers who are seeking to recruit new employees.
Provision of an Accommodation Listing
For students needing accommodation SBCS provides a list of places for rent in the area. Please note SBCS is not affiliated with any of the properties or the owners and merely provides contact information. SBCS does not in so doing make any representation as to the quality and value of said places.
