The Microsoft Office Suite is an industry-standard set of programs that are used in many home and office environments around the world. These courses show students how to use these programs productively and prepare them for the Official Microsoft Office examinations.

This is the starting point in the IT world. This course introduces students to the workings of the Windows Operating System, for example, Windows XP, and an introduction to Word, Excel and PowerPoint and a brief history and introduction to the internet. Students will gain confidence using Office applications and understand features that help maximise your productivity.

This course is designed to provide students with the various principles and operations of AutoCAD 2010.  It is divided into two levels, Learning AutoCAD 2010 and Learning AutoCAD 3D (2010).

SBCS is an Authorised Autodesk Training Centre.  Therefore upon completion of each level, students will be issued with an AutoDesk certificate, in addition to SBCS's certificate of participation.

Adobe Photoshop CS3 is a powerful, industry-standard programme for image editing and manipulation. Students will learn to combine knowledge of this design software with design theory - the information needed to create graphic compositions that successfully organise images, text and space to arouse viewer interest and communicate client messages. It exposes options for creating more complex effects in your artwork and teaches how to prepare quality work for commercial printing or web publishing.

Adobe Illustrator CS3 is the industry-standard illustration software for print, multimedia and online graphics. Students will learn to combine an understanding of this programme with design theory - the information needed to control visual ideas in order to communicate effectively. Students will learn the commands and guidelines needed to take the guesswork out of producing the most professional artwork. This course provides the information needed to broaden one's understanding of Adobe Illustrator CS3 and get the full picture of its scope.

Adobe InDesign CS3 is a leap foward in page layout software. InDesign CS3 is a powerful design and production tool that offers precision, control and seamless integration with other Adobe professional graphics software (Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator). Students will be able to produce professional-quality, full-color documents on high-volume color printing presses or print to a wide range of output devices and formats, such as desktop printers, PDF files and HTML files.

Project 2007 is suitable for those responsible for projects consisting of multiple tasks for customizing graphs and reports and for commuincating project information and status. Students will learn how to effectively plan, manage and track the progress of their projects with project 2007. Students will also become comfortable with the basic concepts of project management and learn how to create tasks, allocate resources, generate project data reports, use workgroup tools to share project information and cuztomize the Project 2007 interface.

Peachtree Accounting is designed to carry out the accounting functions of small to very large organizations. By recording and classifying data correctly, it allows for the maintenance and summarizing of business transactions in such a way as to generate the necessary reports that are presented to management, creditors or outside investors.

The Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS) credential is a globally recognized standard that validates skills with using the 2007 Microsoft Office system and Windows Vista. The successor to the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) credential, the MCAS credential meets the demand for the most up-to-date skills on the latest technologies from Microsoft as well as with the Windows Vista operating system. The Application Specialist credential targets information workers and covers the most popular Microsoft Office products:
