City and Guilds honours 3 top students

City & Guilds has been awarding medals to its best achievers for over 125 years because it is important to them to recognise the achievements of their centres and candidates. In the present day, City & Guilds  recognise and reward outstanding learners through a celebration programme called Medals for Excellence.

The School of Business and Computer Science together with City and Guilds honoured 3 of its top students at the Champs Fleurs Campus on Friday 30th April, 2010.

Garth Maundy was awarded the City and Guilds Medal of Excellence (gold) for outstanding performance in the City and Guilds IVQ Telecommunications Systems Diploma. This medal symbolizes the highest level of achievement attainable by a student.

Other winners included Richard Assue and Narad Vijay Misir who achieved high commendation for outstanding performance in the IVQ Technician Certificate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEET)

Local City & Guilds representative Sue Carlton presented the awards; SBCS Executive Director Dr. Robin Maraj was present to congratulate the winners.
