9 SBCS students awarded 10 World Prizes in the Association of Business Executives (ABE) December 2011 examinations

On Thursday, March 29, 2012, SBCS hosted an Award Ceremony for the nine (9) students who won World Prizes in the December 2011 sitting for the ABE programme. Senior Manager, Central Academic Administration, Mrs. Mridula Seemungal, and Programme Administrator, Candy Douglas-Nurse joined with lecturers Peter Kelly and Alvin Rojas to present the students with tokens on behalf of SBCS to commemorate the occasion.

 

Also present was the ABE Local representative Ms Glenda Esdelle, who presented the awardees with award certificates and a congratulatory message on behalf of the ABE UK body.

 

The nine (9) World Prize winners include:

 

  • Vidya Rampersad for the Economics for Business paper
  • Alana Bridgelal for the Human Resource Management paper
  • Farlon Phillip for the Computer Fundamentals paper
  • Steffan Sooknann for the Information Systems Strategic Management paper
  • Marc Rahim for the Contemporary Applications for Developments paper
  • Leahanna Mannan for the Business Environment paper
  • Nicholas Beharry for Financial Accounting paper
  • Charlé Roberts for the International Business Case Study paper
  • Gregory Galera for the Internet Systems development and Relational Database Applications in Business papers
