ACCA representatives, Mr. Shane Kissoon (Business Development Manager) and Mr. Haimchan Ramdeo (Education Manager) conducted a Monitoring Visit at SBCS’ Champs Fleurs campus on Monday, January 26, 2015.
As part of this visit, documented evidence of SBCS’ performance and procedures was inspected by ACCA, a tour of SBCS’ facilities was conducted, and a discussion was held with SBCS representatives, Dr. Robin Maraj (Executive Director), Ms. Malini Bridglalsingh (Manager Accountancy Training and Education Centre – ATEC) and Ms. Patrice Belfon (Manager Central Academic Administration – CAA). ACCA representatives also met separately with students during the visit.
Further to the January visit, SBCS received confirmation from ACCA that SBCS continues to meet ACCA’s stringent performance targets, and as a result was re-approved for Gold status for the period April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016.
SBCS is an Approved Learning Partner with ACCA, therefore, Monitoring Visits are arranged to give ACCA the assurance that SBCS continues to meet ACCA’s requirements for Gold status approval.
