ACCA’s Pinnacle of Excellence – The 10th Anniversary of ACCA Caribbean a success

Celebration held at Hyatt Regency on Monday, November 2nd , 2009


Champs Fleurs – A tribute to ACCA’s presence in the Caribbean for the last 10 years was recently held at the Hyatt Regency on Monday 2nd November, 2009. Mrs. Helen Brand delivered the feature address at the ACCA 10th Anniversary celebrations.

Other awards of recognition went to :

  • Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados
  • Institute of Chartered Accountants of Belize
  • Institute of Chartered Accountants of Guyana
  • Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica
  • Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad & Tobago

Awards of recognition also went to special recipients Mr. Aulous Madden of Jamaica and Mr. Vishnu Maharaj of Trinidad.

Guests were treated to a warm reception with a little fun and laughter by Mr. Paul Keens Douglas, a dance procession from Eugene Joseph’s Trinidad Dance Theatre and a violin performance from the Walters School of Music as well as a cocktail reception.

SBCS was a platinum sponsor of the event. Mr. Desmond Lum York, Snr. Lecturer (ATEC) received a token of appreciation on behalf of SBCS Ltd. Other delegates representing SBCS at this function were Mr. Ian Mohammed, Snr. Marketing Associate, Ms. Malini Bridglalsingh, Snr. Programme Administrator (ATEC), Ms. Denise Chatoor, Chief Operating Officer (CEC), Mrs. Bennel Padmore Assistant Manager / Snr. Course Administrator and lecturers Messieurs Kamlin Manohar and Sunil Ragbir, and Mrs. Michelle Sarran.
