University of Leicester tutors, Dr. Vincent Campbell and Mr. Jim McKenna visited SBCS on Friday, June 29, and Saturday, June 30, 2012 to conduct the annual teaching visit for the MA Media and Communications programmes. The tutors met with the students of the programme and carried out individual tutorials as well as group sessions with each class.
Additionally, an administrative and academic meeting was held with the visiting tutors and SBCS’ Executive Director , Dr. Robin Maraj; Senior Manager, Corporate Education Centre, Mrs. Jenelle Alexander-Ramkissoon; University of Leicester Course Administrators, Ms. Chermine Liverpool and Ms. Jacqueline Lewis, and SBCS MA Media and Communications Lecturers, Dr. P Sooknanan, Mr. A Goorahoo, and Mr. K. James.
Once again, the visit proved to be quite beneficial to both students and staff at SBCS. We look forward to having representatives from the University of Leicester, Media and Communications department for next year’s visit.”
