SBCS’ Centre for Certified Professional Programmes (CCPP) held its Programme Committee Meeting on Friday, April 5th, 2013, for the Business and Technology Education Council, Higher National Diploma (BTEC HND) in Business Management for the period July, 2012 to March, 2013 for both Champ Fleurs and San Fernando campuses.
This meeting was attended by lecturers, Course Administrators, Central Academic Administration and student representatives for both campuses.
Issues encountered in the administration of the programme were discussed and recommendations presented as to how to resolve them.
The student representatives spoke about balancing work and school, attempting multiple assignments simultaneously and sufficient and effective feedback. Practical solutions and guidance were offered to the students by all present.
CCPP thanks the lecturers and the students for attending the meeting and providing input, which will be used towards the continued improvement of the delivery of the BTEC HND in Business programme.
