SBCS students and alumni,
Today, February 13th, 2019 marks SBCS’ 32nd anniversary.
To each and every one of you, I would like to extend both congratulations and deepest appreciation on this most significant milestone.
SBCS would not be where we are without your support and feedback, and our greatest joy over the years has been to see your progression in your studies, in your careers, and in life. Ingrained in the character of our institution is that desire to continuously improve not just for ourselves, but for you and your families whom we impact through our service.
So, as we step into our 33rd year, our focus will continue to be on delivering to you, a transformational educational experience. One that touches the very core of your humanity, so that you leave us better in every way, not just in terms of skills and capabilities, but also as better human beings. For us, this is the true purpose of education, and consequently the reason why so much effort is exerted to create at SBCS a teaching and learning environment that supports every facet of your experience with us.
In my New Year message, I stated that 2019 is our new dawn, a time of new beginnings. Even at 32, SBCS remains in a process of transformation; the educational landscape of the country has changed with the adjustments to the GATE programme, and new fields of training and educational technology are emerging globally. Yet, through the ongoing improvement of our premises, portfolio and pedagogy, we will be poised to continue to deliver that useful and usable education experience, which you’ve come to know and expect of us. In keeping with this, a number of exciting strategic initiatives will be implemented in the coming months, so stay tuned!
Together we are going to accomplish great things in the years ahead.
Once again, thank you.
Happy 32nd Anniversary, SBCS.
