It’s time!

Our 2018 Employment and Career Fair is today!

SBCS students and alumni, didn’t RSVP? No problem. Simply come to our Champs Fleurs campus and our registration personnel will verify your details to secure your access to the Fair.

The event runs from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM; don’t miss out on the opportunity to hand-deliver your résumés and/or speak directly to some of the top companies operating in Trinidad & Tobago, including but not limited to:

Tips to get the most out of attending the Fair:

 

BEFORE THE FAIR

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Be prepared! Research the companies that you are most interested in at the Fair.

 Dress appropriately; first impressions last.

 Prepare and print multiple copies of your résumé.

 Have a well-prepared elevator pitch.

 Review your notes from the Maximize Your Career workshop (Résumé tips; Interview techniques).

 

 

AT THE FAIR

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Bring the printed copies of your résumé.

 Approach employers with confidence, a smile and make eye contact.

 Deliver your elevator pitch (after all, this is what you prepared it for).

 Ask for a business card and remember to take notes.

 

 

AFTER THE FAIR

 

 

 Send thank you notes to the recruiters of the companies you were most interested in within a few days.

 Continue to review SBCE e-learning or contact Student Services for job and internship listings.
