During the period Friday, March 01, to Sunday, March 03, 2013, representatives from the Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh Business School (EBS), one of the world’s leading business and management schools, also an SBCS Learning Partner for the past twenty years, visited Trinidad to host two events, which were both held at the Hyatt Regency in Port of Spain.
On Friday, March 01, 2013, a combination of over 900 alumni, students and guests gathered for EBS’ Cocktail Reception. It was recorded as the largest event ever held by this esteemed establishment anywhere in the world! This occasion provided a great opportunity for those in attendance to not only share of their experiences on the programme, but also network and build meaningful relationships.
Subsequent to this historical event, EBS held its Graduation Function for the second time in Trinidad, at the Hyatt Regency on Sunday, March 03, 2013. The event included over 115 of the University’s local and regional Masters graduates. This affair was well attended and included distinguished guests, Professor Keith G. Lumsden – Founder and Academic Director of the Edinburgh Business School, Professor Steven Kenneth Chapman – Principal and Vice-Chancellor of Heriot-Watt University and Dr Robin R. Maraj – Executive Director of SBCS.
In addition to joining in the celebration of the success of these two events, we look forward to sharing further accomplishments with the Heriot-Watt University.
