Published: 3:46 PM on October 12, 2020

We are pleased to announce that SBCS GLI  is now a member of  Nestlé’s “Alliance for YOUth” initiative!

This partnership is in conjunction with their “Nestlé needs YOUth” initiative; a programme aimed at equipping young persons with the skills needed to thrive in the world of work, and make a lasting contribution to society.

SBCS’ affiliation means that our students (ages 16-29) will benefit from job employability and job creation initiatives/programmes. As part of this collaboration, five (5) students of our ABE, ACCA and BTEC  Higher National Diploma (Business) programmes will participate in “Youth Focus Friday”; a virtual 5-week mentorship programme with senior leaders from Nestlé Caribbean Inc.

Said Executive Director, Robin R. Maraj of this partnership:

“Nestlé’s Youth Initiative complements our objective of providing  a useful and usable education to our learners so that they can have an immediate and positive impact in the workplace and society. We welcome and support Nestlé’s efforts and look forward to our students benefiting professionally and personally from the experience. Our sincere thanks and appreciation to Nestlé for this splendid initiative.”
