Get your résumé ready!

SBCS students and alumni, it is almost time for the Entrepreneurship, Employment and Career Fair on Friday, 9th August. Over 25 employers have confirmed their participation in the event, which will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at our Champs Fleurs campus. Dress professionally, and come prepared. Whether you are graduating and looking for full-time employment, or you are seeking an internship or part-time employment, there are opportunities at the Fair for you to consider.

Consider as well, these tips on how you can make the most of your experience at the Fair:

• Dress for Success – Your first impressions are everything, so dress in your very best to let employers know you are serious about your employment. 
• Résumé – Have your professional résumé ready for employers to see your academic accomplishments and relevant work experiences. Employers are looking for a well-rounded student who can both contribute to a team environment and work independently.
• Elevator Pitch – On the spot, some recruiters will want to know why you are the best fit. Using 30 – 45 seconds, practise delivering your name, relevant experience, and what stands out about you!
