Executive Management of SBCS, programme administrators, lecturers, students and alumni of the Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University Masters programmes met at our Champs Fleurs Campus for a Programme Committee Meeting, on Friday, November 3rd, 2017.

This biannual meeting is held to host discussions with all stakeholders, towards ensuring SBCS’ continued delivery of industry-relevant postgraduate programmes that prepare students to be functional in their careers, and add value to their organizations. The forum is used to address a range of topics concerned with the quality of academic and administrative support and the overall performance results. Graduates and current students are also invited to provide feedback on their experiences at SBCS and with the programmes.

Among the highlights of this interaction:

  • Graduate, Jason Peru indicated that he was able to acquire a number of sponsors as a chef, having completed the MSc Marketing programme;
  • Students commended SBCS for being excellent in customer service;
  • Student, Allison Thomas commented on the flexibility of the programme and the mature entry route; both of which afforded her the opportunity to pursue the programme.

All attendees were thanked for their time and participation and efforts would be made to implement recommendations provided during this meeting.

Best of luck to all Masters’ students writing exams in December 2017.

The next intake for the Masters’ programme is January 2018. The registration period will be from November 18th – December 14th, 2017.
