The SBCS community joins with Mrs. Rose Lindsay and family, to mourn the loss of Senior Lecturer and Advisory Board Member, Charles R. Lindsay.

Mr. Lindsay was our very first “Business Short Courses” lecturer, and together with our administrators, greatly assisted in the development of our Corporate Training Centre (CTC).

He was a passionate supporter of SBCS, and an exceptional educator and human being. During his long life, he touched and helped shape the lives of many persons, both in and out of the classroom. He was deeply committed to the development of people, not just in Trinidad, but also throughout the region.

His professional track record outside of SBCS included assignments both locally and internationally. He had extensive experience in management consulting, and had several high-profile postings.

About their relationship, Executive Director, Dr. Robin R. Maraj recounted, “I had the pleasure of having many long chats and philosophical discussions with Charles over the years, and I always found him to be a man of exceptional warmth and wisdom…He will be greatly missed.”
