In the lead up to the examination period, the SF Student Council organized a “stress-relief” activity for SBCS students: A hike to Rio Seco Waterfalls, Salybia on Sunday, April 13th, 2014. The goal was to have some fun and relaxation before the start of intense preparations for exams. Based on the feedback from participants, it was “a day well spent”, “an enjoyable and fulfilling escape”, and “a challenging and rewarding experience”.
With the guidance from Hikers Inc. and SBCS’ staff, the day exceeded expectations. Students enjoyed themselves as they hiked across the challenging terrain. Of course, the highlight was the waterfall, where students and staff alike had a chance to swim or just take in the natural beauty of the surroundings.
This outdoor activity left the students with high expectations as they anxiously await the next adventure. Congrats to all hikers, a job well done!
