Champs Fleurs- On Tuesday 3rd November , 2009 ACCA Caribbean held its Certificate Handing Over Ceremony 2009 for the prestigious ACCA Professional Qualification at the Trinidad Hilton. Graduates from December 2008 and June 2009 were recognized for their outstanding achievements.
SBCS was a silver sponsor of the function as well as sponsored the awards for two prizes: The Top Performance Essentials Module – June 2009, which was won by Ms. Marva Wade, an SBCS student and The Top performance Options module – June 2009, won by Ms. Portia Chirambadoro.
SBCS representatives Mr. Desmond Lum York, Snr. Lecturer and Mr. Ian Mohammed Snr. Marketing Associate attended the gala event and were treated to a duet from Ms. Khadine Hosein – Ramsingh and Mr. Marvin Smith, the feature address from Mrs. Helen Brand, Chief Executive, ACCA and cocktails.
