SBCS Global Learning Institute has secured the renewal of its Gold Approved Learning Partner status from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). The feat was accomplished on the strength of student performances in the combined September / December 2017 examination sessions.

To achieve Gold approval, SBCS had to meet a range of challenging performance targets set by the global professional accounting body. These targets focused on various aspects of SBCS’ teaching  and learning provision, including student experience, expectations and feedback; faculty and facilities; academic support systems; and commitment to continuous improvement.

Executive Director, Dr. Robin Maraj commented on the achievement: “We have always sought to provide our learners with a superior teaching and learning experience at SBCS. Our ACCA provision started in 1987 and has developed progressively in the 30+ years since. This renewal ensures that our Accounting learners can continue to rely on a high quality of teaching and academic support services with our ACCA tuition. Kudos to our Accountancy Training & Education Centre (ATEC) for persistently leading the charge in our ACCA/FIA programme delivery; top paper recipients, quality alumni and now, renewed Gold ALP status!”
