As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread around the world, our people must come together and cooperate to ensure the virus passes over our twin islands with as little harm to our citizens as possible. While for most of us this means staying at home and observing the strict social distancing protocols, others are, at great personal risk, putting themselves on the frontlines to protect our nation.
To all of the healthcare workers, those in national security, sanitation, utility companies, the transportation, food and pharmaceutical industry, as well as countless others, accept our heartfelt thanks and solidarity.
As we have always done, we will face and overcome adversity together.
You are in our prayers, and as you perform your duties please know that you carry with you our deep appreciation and gratitude.
