The SBCS Global Learning Institute community joins the nation in commending the outstanding achievement of local sprinter, Michelle-Lee Ahye at the 21st Commonwealth Games at the Gold Coast, Australia.
Ahye stopped the clock at 11:14 seconds in the Women’s 100 metres final, capturing not just Trinidad and Tobago’s first gold medal at 2018 Games, but also the country’s first female athletics gold medal ever at the Commonwealth Games.
Congratulations, Michelle; we wish her and the rest of the Trinidad and Tobago contingent at the Games continued success in their future events, and look forward to welcoming them home.
