The Journey Begins – New EBS Masters’ students welcomed at Orientation Event

On Saturday, July 8th, 2017 the Corporate Education Centre (CEC) hosted its Masters’ Orientation event for the Edinburgh Business School’s (Heriot-Watt University) postgraduate programmes at our Champs Fleurs and San Fernando campuses.
The session conveyed a wealth of information aimed at fostering a stronger bond between new students and members of the academic community at SBCS. The agenda covered a number of elements including a welcome address by Ms. Michelle Kong (Manager – Corporate Education Centre), remarks from Executive Director, Dr. Robin Maraj, an overview of the academic and support services – delivered by course administrators – and perspectives shared by lecturers, Akeem Rahaman (CF) and Burt Gransaull (SF).
The session ended with a short video presentation on the overall student experience by Masters’ graduates.
The Corporate Education Centre wishes all of its students the very best on their academic journey and we look forward to another successful semester.
