The International Certificate in Wealth & Investment Management (ICWIM) covers the essentials of financial planning, private client asset management, fund management, advisory functions and investment analysis from a global perspective. The qualification will ensure that you understand the range of assets and investment products that are available in the market and find appropriate solutions to meet the investment, retirement and protection planning needs for your clients.


Who should attend?

The International Certificate in Wealth & Investment Management is an entry level qualification for international candidates working in private banking and wealth management roles. The programme’s broad focus makes it suitable for a wide audience – from new entrants to financial services to professionals already working in the industry who may be interested in diversifying into wealth management.

What's more, through the partnership between CISI and ACCA, ACCA members and affiliates can join CISI without having to pay an initial membership joining fee (worth up to £50).

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. It is intended for new entrants who are beginning their career in the financial services industry.

HOW TO REGISTER

Step 1  – Confirm your eligibility. (No formal prerequisite qualifications are required to register for this programme)

Step 2 – Please complete the Online Programme Registration Form, and click submit.

Step 4WI Pay (Credit Card) – If you wish to utilize this method, please forward an email to atec@sbc.edu.tt indicating if you would be paying the full cost or whether you would like to access any of our payment plan options. Once this is confirmed, an invoice will then be forwarded via email.

About the Examination

The International Certificate in Wealth and Investment Management is examined via computer based testing and exams take place throughout the year.

The exam consists of 100 multiple choice questions and lasts 2 hours.

Candidates sitting the exam by Computer Based Testing may have, in addition, up to 10% additional questions as trial questions that will not be separately identified and do not contribute to the result. Candidates will be given proportionately more time to complete the test.

The objective of the examination is to provide a test of competence for individuals engaged in private client asset management (discretionary portfolio management) and fund management. It will test candidates’ knowledge and understanding of the following elements:
