Programme Brief
The PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) is a globally recognized certification awarded by the Project Management Institute (PMI). It formally recognizes and validates your knowledge and experience of agile principles, practices, tools and techniques. It was created by agilists for agilists. Rather than focusing on a single methodology, this course spans many approaches to agile, helping you to expand your skill set, increase your versatility, and boost your marketability for project-related roles.
Target Audience
This PMI-ACP course is designed for:
- Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, Product Owners, Team Leaders, Development Team Members, and other project professionals working in or transitioning to agile environments.
- Project professionals seeking a framework-agnostic, globally-recognized certification that proves expertise in a variety of agile methodologies.
- Persons who wish to develop an in-depth understanding of agile principles, practices, tools and techniques.
Course Overview
This PMI-ACP course covers multiple agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Extreme Programming (XP), Test-Driven Development (TDD), etc. It is designed to deepen your knowledge of agile principles, practices, tools and techniques, as well as prepare you to pass the PMI-ACP certification exam. (It also fulfils the mandatory 21 hours of agile training required by PMI to apply for the exam.)
This course prepares you for the current PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® Examination Content.

Certification Requirements

High School (or Secondary School) Diploma or Higher
You qualify with a high school diploma or international equivalent, such as GCSEs, a Secondary School Certificate, or GED.

Agile Experience
You must meet ONE of the following:
- 2 years of agile experience (in the past 5 years)
- Degree from GAC-accredited program, plus 1 year of agile experience
- Third-party agile certification, plus 1 year of agile experience
- PMP® certification

Agile Training
You’ll need 21 hours of formal training in agile practices, frameworks, and methodologies. These hours can be attained by completing this Authorized Training Partner Prep Course
- Administration Fee: TT$150.00 / US$23.00
- Registration Deadline: One week before the scheduled start date of the class.

Step 2: Once the form has been completed, please proceed to make your payment via the following options below:
Option 1: PayPal – Please click the ” Add to Cart” button below:
Option 2: WiPay (Credit Card – USD Only) – If you wish to utilize this method, please email [email protected] requesting an invoice for payment in USD.
Option 3: Republic EPay (Credit Card – TTD Only) – If you wish to utilize this method, please forward an email to [email protected] indicating if you would be paying the full cost or whether you would like to access the payment plan. Once this is confirmed, an invoice will then be forwarded via email.

Option 4: Payment of TT$4,150.00 can be made via Direct deposit / online bank transfer. Please click here for further instructions regarding the banking options available.
Please note that online bank transfers can be done from the following banking institutions – Republic Bank, Royal Bank, First Citizens Bank and Scotia Bank.
Step 3: Complete the Online Payment Update / Notification form – Please ensure a copy of the deposit slip / transaction slip / e-receipt is included when submitting your information.
Step 4: Applicable to Payment Plan Students: Sign and return your Enrolment Ticket.
Do note that the completed Enrolment Ticket is SBCS’ legally required document confirming that fees are outstanding. All further communication and instructions will follow once this step is completed.

EXAMINATIONS
Kindly note that becoming PMI-ACP® Certified, depends upon the student’s successful completion of an examination, which is administered by the Project Management Institute (PMI)®. This exam cost is not included in our tuition fees.
The examination can be administered under Computer-Based Testing (CBT) at the Pearson Vue Test Centre.
