Requirements for Online Sessions:

  • Windows OS or MAC OS X : Windows 10  
  • Office: Microsoft Office 2019 (Office 2016 is similar to the 2019 version)
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader

Administration fee: US $23 / TT $150

Registration deadline: One week before the scheduled start date of the class.

Payment Plan: 60% down payment on tuition to start the class, with the balance due a month after classes begin.

Online Registration

To register for the online course, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Please complete the Online Programme Registration Form and click Submit.
  2. Once you have submitted the form, please proceed to make your payment using one of the options below:

Option 1:

A payment of TT$3,000.00 (2,850 +150) can be made via a direct or in-bank deposit as directed here.

After making the deposit, please email a copy of the stamped deposit slip to the Centre for & Undergraduate Business Programmes (CUBP) at [email protected], informing them of this.

Option 2:

Republic Bank E-Pay (Credit Card and/or Debit Card option) – If you wish to utilise this method, please forward an email to [email protected] indicating if you would be paying the full cost or whether you would like to access any of our payment plan options. Once this is confirmed, an invoice will then be forwarded via email.

Option 3:

PayPal (for US payments only) – Please click the ” Add to Cart” button below:

  1. Once CUBP verifies your payment, you will receive final registration details. All relevant information about accessing online sessions will be sent to you via email within 3-5 working days.

On the completion of this programme, participants should:-

  • Identify common ornamental, landscape, and ground-cover plants.
  • Conduct basic site surveys, measurements, and landscape assessments.
  • Prepare sites for planting and establish plants correctly.
  • Apply basic propagation techniques.
  • Develop appropriate fertilisation and plant nutrition programmes.
  • Identify common pest and disease problems and recommend appropriate controls.
  • Select, operate, clean, and maintain basic landscaping equipment.
  • Plan and install basic landscape lighting and special features.
  • Apply landscape management principles to real-world projects.
  • Identify opportunities for starting and growing a landscaping enterprise.
